Siempelkamp has installed a total of 32 wood-based panels lines so far this year. Of that number, 17 had already been started in 2011 and completed only in 2012. 15 new installations have been started in 2012, of which six are in China, two in each of Southeast Asia, South America and Russia and three in Europe. First panels were produced this year on 18 Siempelkamp wood-based panels lines. Ten of those lines started up in Asia, five in Europe, two in South America and one in the USA. The 18 lines which started operations comprise eleven MDF/HDF lines, six particleboard lines and one transformer-board line for the US-American client Weidmann Electrical Technology.
