Forming process of disposable paper plate machine

Forming is to make a certain shape of semi wet paper pulp tableware . That is, the pulp from the pulping process is dehydrated on the metal mold to form the prototype of wet pulp tableware. This is the key process in the production process of paper tableware. About 95% of the water in the pulp is removed during the molding process. Therefore, this process plays a decisive role in the quality of products, energy consumption, improvement of production efficiency and damage rate. The quality of molding depends on the molding machine, molding method, mold structure and quality, slurry quality and other factors. 

At present, the use of plant fibers to make lunch boxes or other industrial products is an emerging industry, and the environmental pollution caused by the burning and stacking of straw in rural my country still needs to be resolved. Due to the time nature of the straws, if the straws cannot be processed in time in autumn, it will affect the production of degradable lunch boxes or other industrial products, and the stacking of straws will also increase various costs.


The choice of molding method

There are three common molding methods of pulp molding tableware: vacuum decompression molding, pressure molding and compressed air molding.


Vacuum decompression molding

This is the most common molding method of pulp molded products in China. It is suitable for shallow plate and thin wall tableware with small wall thickness and depth. Its working principle is to install the metal mesh mold on the cavity seat with air extraction pipe, and put it in the pulp liquid to form a low pressure inside, so as to make the pulp fiber uniformly deposit on the outer surface of the mold. After reaching the required deposition thickness, the mold is removed from the slurry. Continue dehydration, extrusion and move to drying process, and finally demould into products.


Pressure forming

The pressure forming method is suitable for the forming of shallow plate and thick wall products, and the products with density of 0165-1g / cm3 can be obtained. Its working principle: the upper and lower metal mesh molds form the product space. When the product is molded, the pulp is first injected into the grouting device 3 by the pulp tank 1 through the pump 2, and the pulp is also quantitatively injected into the molding device 5. At this time, under the pressure of the air cylinder 7, the extrusion upper die 6 goes down into the former 5 with the forming lower net die 4. The upper and lower dies close together to extrude the pulp, so that the water and gas are discharged through the die mesh, and the paper fiber is pressed onto the cavity for forming. Then, the net extrusion die 6 is connected with the vacuum system to suck the product out of the lower die 4 in the drainage former 5, Finally, cut off the vacuum or connect the compressed air to make the product out of the extrusion punch.


Compressed air molding

It is suitable for tableware with complex shape and closed structure, such as cup, bucket, can, etc. Its working principle: during forming, pulp is pumped into removable metal mesh model tank 5 by slurry tank 3, then compressed air is injected into it to make water and air of pulp discharged, and pulp fiber is evenly attached to the surface of the mold, and finally, the product is removed by disassembling the mold.
